Summer 2025 - Schedules, services and closures: we tell you everything
BU services are adapted all year round according to the university calendar.
On this page, you'll find all the dates you need to know to adapt BU services until the start of the 2025 academic year.
Work at BU Sciences
Work is scheduled to start at BU Sciences on June 16.
The entire 1st floor will be closed from Monday June 16 to Sunday September 7 inclusive.
The work rooms and group work areas are not accessible. To consult and/or borrow documents from Level 1, Room C and Room D, please go to reception.
Summer loan / unlimited loan: from Wednesday June 11 (more information in the dedicated paragraph).

Summer opening hours: your BUs adapt all year round
From Monday June 16 to Friday July 18, and from Monday August 25 to Friday August 29, your BUs will switch to summer opening hours.
Monday to Friday :
BU Richter, Sciences : 8am - 5pm
BU Pharmacie, Médecine UPM: 8.30am - 5pm
BU Médecine Nîmes: 9am - 5pm
BU Odontologie, IUT Montpellier, IUT Béziers: no change
IUT Nîmes: 7.30 a.m. - 6 p.m. from July 1
Last computer / tablet loan :
- Last "14-day" loans are due on Friday June 20 (i.e. by July 4) to enable us to prepare materials for the start of the academic year.
- If you need a loan for a longer period (until September 15), consider the "Un PC pour mes études" scheme, which allows you to keep a PC until the start of the new academic year, subject to proof (internship, dissertation, etc.).
Summer loan / unlimited loan
BU Sciences: from June 11 until the BUs close for the summer on the evening of July 18: borrow as many documents as you like, and keep them all summer long.
In other UM BUs: from June 23 until the BUs close for the summer on the evening of July 18: borrow as many documents as you like,
and keep them all summer long.
Loan return date: from September 8.

BUs close for the summer on Friday evening, July 18.
Reopening on Monday August 25.
During the summer, access your online resources(ENT ▶ libraries).
Stopping services
ILL requests will no longer be possible from June 27. Resumption on Monday August 25.
The undifferentiated loan service will cease on Tuesday July 15 at 12 noon.
The undifferentiated loan service enables users to bring in a document from another BU. Resumption on Tuesday August 26.
