Become a library tutor!

The University Libraries are recruiting information specialists for the period from September 2024 to May 2025.

The documentation tutoring program leads to an institutional diploma in “Training for the Role of Qualified Tutor” (following a period of internship) and subsequently qualify for a paid contract.

Being a tutor at a university library means:

  • Welcome and assist undergraduate students to introduce them to the university libraries and their services, and guide them in their research;
  • Help design and facilitate training sessions (in-person workshops, tutorials, and distance learning) on information resources, in conjunction with discipline-specific courses;
  • Develop expertise in the digital tools provided by the academic units and help promote their use among students.

Above all, it’s about enjoying sharing your experience and skills, and developing your interpersonal and teaching skills.

HOW DO I APPLY?

Terms and Conditions :

– Be a student at UM during the 2024–2025 academic year
– Strongly recommended academic levels for applicants: starting from the L3 level or the third year of a health-related program
