Exhibition – Water: A Challenge for the Future

As part of the University of Montpellier’s Water Week, two complementary exhibitions invite you to explore the challenges and beauty of water—this precious and fragile resource—through innovative approaches, presented simultaneously at two different venues.

In the Science Library, you will find the photography exhibition“Water: Challenges for the Future,” organized by the UNESCO ICIREWARD International Center in Montpellier, which features photographs and videos by Mathieu Bourgarel ( The Lost Compass association). The exhibition highlights the climatic, environmental, political, and societal dimensions of freshwater management, a major challenge of the 21st century.
