In residence since January 2026 and through the fall, visual artist and poet Sofia Lautrec presents the first phase of her project, which blends art and geology.
Drawing on a collection of stones, rocks, and minerals passed down by her grandfather, she explores the concept of collecting: its role in artistic and scientific research, as well as the personal and nostalgic significance it holds.
Through sculpture, experimental photography, and poetic writing, he explores stone as a material, its physicality, its symbolic significance, and its evocative power.
