What does this job involve?

A student employment contract allows you to reconcile your studies with your job as a student: you work on a campus, and can manage your time while giving priority to your studies. It's up to you to choose the profile that best matches your availability!

To apply, you must :

be enrolled at the University of Montpellier for the 2024-2025 academic year
be available, depending on the offers, from September or October 2024 until May or June 2025.

Activities

Reception of users / information
Transactions for the loan and return of documents and materials / assistance with the use of the automated system
Assistance in the use of on-site services (public computer stations, copiers, group work rooms, etc.)
Reading room surveillance
Storage of returned paper documents
Reclassification of structures according to a pre-determined breakdown
Document equipment
Documentation of activity during the shift (attendance counts, source surveys, statistical monitoring)
Depending on the location and the offer, participation in the opening and closing operations of the BU with the help of the permanent agents and security guards
Participation in documentary projects

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Know how to implement procedures and rules
Know how to use (after training) business software for the loan of documents and materials
Sense of teamwork
Sense of responsibility
Good interpersonal skills
Experience working with the public appreciated

BU RICHTER : 12 positions to be filled, according to 2 profiles

1- WEEKDAYS FOR THE DAY AND EVENINGS – 7 stations

Availability: open Monday to Friday

6 hours of daytime per week over 26 weeks
and 10 hours per week during the day and in the evening, over 12 weeks (extended periods).

Availability required: from 02/09/2024 to 13/06/2025

Entry level: L2 and above

2- SATURDAYS AND EVENINGS – 5 stations

Quota: 9h every Saturday from 5/10 to 23/05 9h-19h (1h lunch break) + 2 evenings 18h45-21h per week for 12 weeks a year (before exams, open until 21h).

Availability required: from 09/23/2024 to 05/23/2025

Entry level: L2 and above

BU SCIENCES : 16 positions to be filled, according to 2 profiles

3- WEEKDAYS FOR THE DAY: 4 SHIFTS

Working hours: 10 hours a week, Monday to Friday, between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m.

Availability required: from 02/09/2024 to 13/06/2025

4- SUNDAYS AND EVENINGS: 12 STATIONS

Shift pattern: the schedule provides for a 3-week rotation of 3 teams of 4 people. Each team works 2.5 evening shifts per week from 6.45pm to 10.30pm (2 x 3.45 hours one week, 3 x 3.45 hours the next) + one Sunday out of 3 from 10am to 7pm (8am and 1h lunch break).
