MOOC – Learning to Stay Better Informed – 2026 Edition

The University of Montpellier is addressing today's societal challenges by creating an online course, the MOOC "Learning to Be Better Informed: Meeting the Challenge of Information," available on the France Université Numérique platform.

Developed by the Joint Documentation Service, this MOOC is designed to help learners acquire the fundamental skills needed to select information sources effectively, reuse them efficiently and responsibly, and better navigate a constantly evolving information and technology environment.

Open to all, regardless of prior knowledge, it addresses current issues that affect us all: misinformation, critical thinking, artificial intelligence, and ethics. This dynamic and interactive course will provide you with the tools to understand these topics and guidance on how to take action, regardless of your learning context.
