Requesting a document not available in the university libraries of Montpellier

The document you are looking for is not available in the University of Montpellier catalog; however, it can be requested from another library in France or elsewhere in the world through the Interlibrary Loan (ILL) service. This service is subject to a fee and is available only to registered users (students and staff of the University of Montpellier, as well as external patrons).

Request a document

  • Please use the form provided in the University of Montpellier catalog.
  • Click "Sign In."
  • Click on "Interlibrary Loan Request."
  • Fill out one form per requested document and select the pickup library from the drop-down list.
  • You will be notified by email when the document arrives at the library you selected as your pickup location (see processing times below), and you will receive a link to complete the online payment at that time.
  • Go to the loan office with your payment receipt to pick up your document.
  • To return it, you must bring the document back to the same library.

Interlibrary Loan Fees

For faculty members and researchers, the costs associated with your interlibrary loan requests may be covered by the University of Montpellier’s research departments or laboratories, provided that the department or laboratory submits a list of authorized individuals: please check with your department or laboratory.
