what is initium?
Located at BU Richter, a living space conducive to learning, Initium is an incubator for student entrepreneurs and young graduates from the MUSE* area with a project to set up or take over a business. Project leaders meet, exchange ideas and meet resource persons.

Documentary support
The BU Richter helps project leaders in their documentary research with :
- Appointments with a librarian for guidance on a specific question
- Individual or group training sessions on request
- A remote information service: a librarian answers your questions online
- Online tools and databases: digital resources
Spaces available at BU Richter
The incubator's privileged location within the BU Richter provides easy access to the BU's books and resources.
The BU Richter provides project leaders with a number of spaces suited to teamwork:
A co-working space
This space is designed to encourage exchange, collaboration and creativity. It features collaboration screens, modular furniture to adapt to different needs, and writing walls.
A space for conviviality and relaxation
Project leaders can meet up in the conviviality area to relax, network with other incubatees and come up with creative ideas in a different environment.
Meeting and training rooms available for reservation
- The Cabin: a room entirely dedicated to meetings between incubatees and external people, to ensure confidentiality.
- L'Atelier: a space equipped with a video projector and furniture for group work sessions and training courses.
- The training room: a space that can be adapted to suit your needs, which can accommodate conferences as well as several collaborative screens for group training sessions.
- A group work room: for collaborative work on a project, in particular with the collaborative screen, and possibly with outsiders.
- A VIP room: for meetings with partners.
