initium—what is it?
Located at the Richter University Library—a vibrant space conducive to learning— Initium is an incubator designed for student entrepreneurs and recent graduates within the MUSE* network who are planning to start or take over a business. Project leaders meet there, exchange ideas, and host resource persons.

Documentation Support
The Richter Library helps project leaders with their research by providing:
- Appointments with a librarian for assistance with a specific question
- Training sessions available upon request, either individually or in groups
- A remote reference service: a librarian will answer your questions online
- Online tools and databases: digital resources
The spaces available at the Richter University Library
The incubator’s prime location within the Richter University Library provides easy access to the library’s books and resources.
The Richter University Library offers project leaders numerous spaces designed for teamwork:
A coworking space
This space is designed to foster communication, collaboration, and creativity. It features collaborative screens, modular furniture that can be adapted to different needs, and whiteboard walls.
A place for socializing and relaxation
Project leaders can gather in the social area to relax, build relationships with other incubatees, and come up with creative ideas in a different setting.
Meeting and training rooms available for reservation
- The Booth: a room entirely dedicated to meetings between incubatees and outside visitors to ensure confidentiality.
- The Workshop: a space equipped with a video projector and furniture suitable for group work sessions and training sessions.
- The training room: a versatile space that can be adapted to meet various needs, capable of hosting conferences and equipped with several interactive displays for group training sessions.
- A group workroom: allows people to collaborate on a project—particularly using the collaborative display—and possibly with external participants.
- A VIP room: for meetings with partners.
