Borrow a document

You can borrow documents and/or consult them on site:

• in the libraries of affiliated institutions (Paul Valéry University, Nîmes and Perpignan Universities, ENSCM, IRTS, IPT)
• in the network of associated libraries: departmental libraries, university department libraries, laboratory libraries, or libraries belonging to the Faculty of Education, under certain conditions.

* Excluding short-term loans: codes, textbooks, exam preparation books, etc.

Undifferentiated loan

Is the document you need already on loan, or would you like to have a document transferred from one university library to another? You can request an interlibrary loan.

Return of your documents

You can return borrowed documents to the library reception desk during opening hours.

Return boxes are always available in front of the Sciences, Richter, and Medicine UPM libraries. Please note: due to the Vigipirate "attack emergency" plan, the return boxes are closed until further notice.

Please note: you are responsible for borrowed resources and documents. Any borrowed items that are lost, stolen, or damaged must be replaced.

You can access the University's digital resources:

You can borrow equipment from the various university libraries, either on site and/or at home:

On site, you have access to the library's desktop computers.
These allow you to work on site, connect to the internet, and access Office software.

Paul Valéry Montpellier 3 University, ENSCM, Protestant Institute of Theology, IRTS, University of Nîmes (UN), University of Perpignan (UPVD)

For users from the University of Nîmes and Paul Valéry Montpellier 3 University, you will use your student card.

For others, you will receive a free library card at the library reception desk upon presentation of the following documents:

• ID card
  
• Proof of enrollment at the institution
• Proof of address dated within the last 3 months

For users at the University of Nîmes, you can use the UNîmes card.

Access to desktop computers

To access desktop computers, please visit your university library reception desk to create an account OR create your username and password online: log on to https://cead.umontpellier.fr/premieredemande and follow the instructions.
Once activated, this account will allow you to access all public computers in UM University Libraries for one year.
