Connect to Wi-Fi

For staff and students at UM and other universities: Eduroam

The recommended network for staff and students at the University of Montpellier is "eduroam."
This network is encrypted and therefore offers a higher level of data protection.

Once your device is set up, you’ll be able to use the“eduroam”network at all other partner institutions participating in the project worldwide without any additional setup.

LOG IN

To log in:

  • Username: full university email address
  • Password: the one for your digital learning environment

If you encounter any difficulties, you can submit a support request from a desktop computer

For students, staff, and faculty members from outside Montpellier, as well as external guests invited by the University: UM-net

LOG IN

To connect to the UM-net Wi-Fi network:

  • Log in to the UM-net network
  • Open a web browser
  • Your browser will then be automatically redirected to the login page
  • Select your home institution
  • Once you have been authenticated, network access will be granted, and you will be able to browse the internet.

Please note that external users not affiliated with a university do not have access to guest Wi-Fi accounts.
