Connect to wifi

For staff and students at UM and other universities: Eduroam

The preferred network for staff and students of the University of Montpellier is "eduroam".
This network is encrypted and therefore offers a higher level of protection for your data.

Once you've set up your equipment, you can use the eduroam network at any of the project's international partner schools without any further configuration.

CONNECTION

To log in :

  • Identifier: full university mail
  • Password: your ENT password

In the event of difficulty, you can submit a request for assistance from a fixed station

For students, staff, academics from outside Montpellier and external guests invited by the University: UM-net

CONNECTION

To access the UM-net wifi network :

  • Connect to the UM-net network
  • Open a Web browser
  • Your browser will then be automatically redirected to the authentication page
  • Choose your home school
  • Once you've been authenticated, network access will be opened and you'll be able to surf the Internet.

Please note that external readers not linked to a university do not have access to wifi-invited accounts.
