Connect to Wi-Fi

For UM staff and students and those from other universities: Eduroam

The recommended network for staff and students at the University of Montpellier is "eduroam."
This network is encrypted and therefore offers a higher level of data protection.

Once your equipment is configured, you will be able to use the "eduroam" network in all other partner institutions participating in the international project without any additional configuration.

LOGIN

To log in:

  • Username: full university email address
  • Password: your ENT password

If you encounter any difficulties, you can submit a request for assistance from a fixed workstation.

For students, staff, academics outside Montpellier, external guests invited by the University: UM-net

LOGIN

To access the UM-net Wi-Fi network:

  • Connect to the UM-net network
  • Open a web browser
  • Your browser will then be automatically redirected to the authentication page.
  • Select your home institution
  • After being authenticated, network access will be open and you will be able to browse the internet.

Please note that external readers not affiliated with a university do not have access to guest Wi-Fi accounts.
